How many of you actually went from couch potato to 5k runner in 8 weeks?#To pass tests for work, I need to be able to run 8 miles in under 50 minutes, run 1.5 miles under 9 minutes, and comfortably walk 30 miles. The truth is, ANY TIME is a good time if you out there running instead of in the house on the PC..I believe the rules are that you can bypass an obstacle if you do a certain amount of push-ups? Can anybody share thoughts on how these rules *`Start with kiddie dashes, build to a one-mile fun run, then progress to a 5K. Build up to longer distances over time.
